NORA and NORTRANSS joined their forces in Djibouti

Nora and Nortrans, two of the leading Turkish logistics companies, joined their forces in Africa. The two companies have opened offices in Djibouti, one of the most important centers of East Africa, with the company they established under trade name Nora & Nortranss Global Logistics SARL.

Izmir-based Nora and Ankara-based Nortranss made an important extension in Africa. Two companies who wished to carry out their Eastern African operations more reliably, quickly and professionally, opened their branch in Djibouti with the company they created under trade name Nora & Nortranss Global Logistics SARL. Mr. Mehmet Melih Cen, Nora & Nortranss Global Logistics SARL Djibouti Branch Manager, emphasized that Djibouti is a safe hub to the Eastern African region as a geographical location, and said that the country is the only entry and exit point for sea transportation especially to Ethiopia which has no link to the coast. NORA, A PIONEERING COMPANY

The founding idea of Nora Uluslararası Nakliyat emerged with the thesis prepared by Yakup Akın, company owner, while he was an undergraduate student at Dokuz Eylül University, Marine Business Administration Department in 1996.
